Short Bio:
Dr. Michael Cobb is currently an adjunct IT/Cybersecurity professor at WUST. He works full time for the Department of Defense as an IT Professor. He was the director of Operations, IT, and facilities at the Inter-American Defense College from July 2006-Aug 2016. He retired from the US Army after over 20 years serving in a wide variety of communications and IT assignments around the world. He was an Assistant professor and course director at the United States Military Academy in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department. Mike graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Systems Engineering. He graduated from Stratford University with an MS in Cybersecurity and a Doctorate in Information Technology (DIT). He holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential. His current research interests include offensive cybersecurity training and education techniques. Mike enjoys playing golf, running, and refereeing soccer.
He holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) credentials.
